See McCar Model Homes in the Raleigh Parade of Homes
McCar Homes is pleased to announce that two of their fully decorated model homes will be featured in the 43rd Annual Raleigh Parade of Homes. The Parade includes the Fairfax model at Ashton Hall and the Inverness model at The Overlook at Holly Glen. Both homes showcase standard features and upgrades found throughout every McCar Homes community. Homes featured in the Parade of Homes will be open from noon to 5:00 p.m. on the following dates: Oct. 4-5, Oct. 10-12, and Oct. 17-19, 2008. Three of the Best-Performing Cities are in the Carolinas
The Milken Institute recently released their 2008 study of the “Best Performing Cities,” and North and South Carolina are both represented in the top 10. Coming in at #2 is the Raleigh-Cary region of North Carolina. Wilmington, NC made the list at #6, falling from last year’s second place ranking. And Charleston, SC rounds up the top ten at #10. With three cities in the top 10, the Carolinas make up 33% of the best performing cities in the nation. The Milken Institute considers economic growth and job creation as the two contributing factors that make a city a top performer, which is no suprise because those two factors weigh heavily on a city’s economic stability. And it is sort of a domino effect from economic stability - the higher the job growth, the more of an increase in population; the more people are moving to a city, the more stable the real estate market, and so on. Brayson Homes Offers Huge Buyer Incentive to Purchasers of Homes in the Greenville, S. C., and Metro Atlanta Markets
In a program designed to increase the opportunity for more consumers to achieve the American dream of home ownership, Brayson Homes has initiated a program which offers a buyer incentive worth $15,000 to purchasers of its “build to order” homes in the Greenville, S. C., and Metro Atlanta markets.
The promotion, which opened on Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, and ends on Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, can be used toward upgrading designer features or toward closing costs on “build to order” homes from the company. The offer applies to all purchasers of Brayson’s “build to order” homes with the stipulation that buyers must contract and close through BH Financial. Potential homebuyers should also be aware that DPA, “Down Payment Assistance,” will not be available after Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008. FHA loans will now require at least 3-5% down to be paid by the purchaser for home loans.
Brayson Homes officials also noted that persons who quality are also eligible for the federal government’s new $7,500 refundable tax credit which was a part of the housing stimulus bill which became law during July. The tax credit is available to first-time homebuyers and those who have not owned a home in the past three years and who meet the income limits of the program.
